Juan M. Arzuaga

Outgoing Executive Secretary

Before joining IPLOCA in September 2008, Juan was already well known in the pipeline world as a former IPLOCA director for the Americas. He was previously President of Techint E&C Inc. in Canada and had worked with Techint in South America, Mexico and Canada in progressively senior roles from 1982. Juan is of Argentinian origin and speaks English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

The Executive Secretary is appointed by the Board and reports to the Board through the President and the Executive Committee. In this role, Juan provides vision and strategic management to ensure that IPLOCA’s direction and initiatives achieve the desired results.

Georges Hage

Incoming Executive Secretary

Georges is well known to IPLOCA as a former IPLOCA Director for the Middle East & Africa Region from 2013 to 2018.

During his career, Georges has contributed to the development, financing, and execution of many projects in oil and gas, construction and infrastructure in Europe, Middle East, GCC and Africa.

Before becoming an independent consultant and advisor in 2019, Georges was the Group CEO of the C.A.T. Group. He succeeded in positioning the group as number one international pipeline contractor and number 91st international general contractor according to Engineering News-Record (ENR). In this role he was interviewed by Forbes Middle East magazine in June 2018 and featured in their cover story.

Nathalie Bergeret

Membership Manager

Nathalie Bergeret joined IPLOCA in July 2023. She takes care of membership administration and is responsible for managing the day to day relationship of the IPLOCA Secretariat with the members of the board, the media partners and the public in general.

Nathalie was born in Canada and moved to Switzerland to finish her studies. She has Swiss, French and Canadian nationalities and is bilingual English/French. Having lived in Geneva for over 40 years, Nathalie has had the opportunity to work in various sectors such as the travel trade, NGOs, construction engineering, offshore drilling, and finance in CAO/Secretary General to the Board/HR/Office Manager roles.

Caroline Green

Convention Manager

Caroline Green joined IPLOCA as Office Manager in April 2005 when the Association relocated to Geneva from Ghent, Belgium. She became Membership & Convention Manager in 2007 and subsequently Convention Manager in 2018.

As manager of IPLOCA’s Annual Convention, she is responsible for contract negotiation with suppliers, programme definition, sponsorship and on-site management of the programme.

Caroline has British and Swiss nationality and is bi-lingual English/French. She has a strong administrative background and before joining IPLOCA she worked for diverse organisations in Switzerland, including Caterpillar, Cinzano, the World Health Organisation and Collège du Léman private school.

Grégoire de Montmollin

Innovation & Communication Manager - Convention Coordinator

Grégoire started working with IPLOCA at the end of October 2017, following nine months spent working in a family office in Geneva. He received a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from the Ecole hotelière de Lausanne in July 2016.

Grégoire is a French mother tongue Swiss national, originally from the canton of Neuchatel and he speaks English and some Spanish. He enjoys sports and travelling.

He works alongside the Convention Manager as the dedicated Convention Coordinator and also as the Manager of the Novel Construction Initiative and the Road to Success book. In addition he provides daily general support to the Secretariat.

Sébastien Goetschmann

Accounting Manager and HSE & CSR Coordinator

Sébastien Goetschmann has worked in a wide variety of companies including large banks, fiduciaries and a well-known auction house before joining IPLOCA in July 2019. Sébastien is of Swiss origin and speaks fluent French, English and Russian.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the preparation, maintenance and interpretation of the association's accounts. He supports the HSE & CSR Committee with the preparation of the HSE statistics annual report, organizes HSE & CSR workshops, awards adjudication process and represents the association in dealing with local authorities and organisations.
