Georges Hage
Executive SecretaryGeorges is well known to IPLOCA as a former IPLOCA Director for the Middle East & Africa Region from 2013 to 2018.
During his career, Georges has contributed to the development, financing, and execution of many projects in oil and gas, construction and infrastructure in Europe, Middle East, GCC and Africa.
Before becoming an independent consultant and advisor in 2019, Georges was the Group CEO of the C.A.T. Group. He succeeded in positioning the group as number one international pipeline contractor and number 91st international general contractor according to Engineering News-Record (ENR). In this role he was interviewed by Forbes Middle East magazine in June 2018 and featured in their cover story.
Eszter Czirjak
Membership Manager & Newsletter EditorEszter joined IPLOCA as Membership Manager in November 2023. She has experience working for media organisations and international NGOs.
Before joining IPLOCA, she worked as a journalist for public service news organisation Swissinfo. Prior to this, she was External Relations Manager for a Geneva-based NGO, the EBU.
She speaks fluent English, French and Hungarian.
Isabelle Bourzeix
Convention ManagerIsabelle joined IPLOCA as Convention Manager in October 2024, bringing with her over two decades of experience in event and administrative management. Prior to IPLOCA, Isabelle held positions with international organisations in the medical and scientific sectors, including FDI World Dental Federation and Kenes Group, one of the world’s leading professional congress organisers and association management companies, where she developed a keen understanding of business-oriented conventions.
As manager of IPLOCA's Annual Convention, she is responsible for contract negotiations with suppliers, programme definition, sponsorships and on-site management of the programme.
Isabelle is a French citizen and speaks fluent French, English and some German.
Alexandre Dafit
Marketing Manager - Convention & Novel Construction CoordinatorAlexandre joined IPLOCA in January 2025 as Marketing Manager and Convention & Novel Construction Coordinator.
He holds a Masters in Marketing Management & Tourism and an MBA in Project Management.
Alexandre started his career at Disney in the Food & Beverage Strategy Department. He then held hospitality and sponsorship positions with various sports event organisations such as Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022, Rugby World Cup 2023 and UEFA.
He is responsible for the association's marketing tasks and its data base. He works alongside the Convention Manager in organising the annual conventions. He also supports the Innovation and Energy Transition committees in organising the Novel Construction Sessions.
Alexandre is a French citizen and speaks fluent French and English.
Sébastien Goetschmann
Accounting Manager and HSE & CSR CoordinatorSébastien has worked in a wide variety of companies including large banks, fiduciaries and a well-known auction house before joining IPLOCA in July 2019.
He is responsible for the preparation of the association's accounts and the financial reports while maintaining legal compliance. He also deals with the local authorities.
He supports the HSE & CSR Committee with the preparation of the HSE statistics annual report and the organisation of the HSE & CSR workshops. He also supports the different committees during the awards adjudication processes.
Sébastien is of Swiss origin and speaks fluent French, English and Russian.
