HSE Workshop & Novel Construction Fall Session (combined event)

For the first time, IPLOCA’s HSE Workshop and Fall Novel Construction Session will come together as one two-day event in Vienna on 28–29 October 2026.
The combined programme will feature technical presentations, interactive workshops and discussions exploring safety, innovation, emerging technologies and the energy transition.
Programme
Wednesday, 28 October
The event will begin with a series of technical presentations during the morning, covering a range of industry-relevant topics. In the afternoon, participants will take part in the IPLOCA HSE Workshop, focusing on five key risks and the critical controls required before project start-up.
Thursday, 29 October
Technical presentations will continue throughout the morning. The afternoon will be dedicated to the Novel Construction Group Workshop, where participants will collaborate in groups before presenting their ideas and concepts to the audience.

Over the course of the two days, attendees can expect presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics, including safety, emerging technologies, the energy transition, carbon footprint reduction, and other key issues shaping the pipeline industry.
The event has been designed to encourage both knowledge sharing and collaboration, combining expert presentations with interactive workshop sessions that promote innovation and practical problem-solving.
Call for Speakers
Members interested in contributing to the technical programme are invited to submit a presentation proposal for either Wednesday or Thursday.
Please send the presentation title together with a brief outline to IPLOCA Executive Director Georges Hage at georges.hage@iploca.com by 20 September
at the latest.
Registration and Accommodation
There is no fee to attend the events, but registration is required. Please complete the registration form below by 9 October 2026.
The IPLOCA Fall Session will be held at the Renaissance Vienna Schönbrunn Hotel. We kindly ask you to complete your hotel booking by 24 September using this link. After this date, the hotel cannot guarantee the special room rate and availability.
As the programme will begin on Wednesday morning, participants are encouraged to arrive in Vienna on Tuesday, 27 October, and make their accommodation arrangements accordingly.
The hotel booking link will also be shared with all members by email.
Attendance at the Fall Meetings is free of charge for both IPLOCA members and non-member companies. Registration is required.
