NesmaKent Energy secures landmark contract with Aramco
NesmaKent Energy Company (NKJV), a pioneering joint venture between Nesma & Partners and Kent, has signed a strategic contract with Aramco to lead phase one of the National EPC Champion Initiative. The National EPC Champion Initiative is a strategic programme launched by Aramco to develop local Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) champions in Saudi Arabia by forming joint ventures between Saudi companies and leading international EPC firms.
The inaugural seed project under this agreement focuses on enhancing the produced water facilities in the South Ghawar Area, a critical initiative aligned with Aramco’s long-term corporate strategy to sustain crude oil production and meet Maximum Sustainable Capacity (MSC) targets. NesmaKent’s expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services, advanced execution technologies, and operational efficiency will play a crucial role in optimizing project outcomes while ensuring minimal operational disruptions.
“Our partnership with Aramco under the National EPC Champion Program reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability,” said Ahmad Hamadah, the General Manager at NesmaKent. “With a combination of local market knowledge and world-class engineering expertise, we are not only delivering projects but actively shaping the future of Saudi Arabia’s energy sector.”
