About SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations LLC

SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC established in Q1-2015 is an affiliate Company of SOCAR, under the direction of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic and SOCAR President to represent Azerbaijan's strategic shareholding and interests in onshore oil and gas export pipelines.
As of April 1, 2025, SOCAR Midstream Operations LLC (SMO) has officially completed a spin-off, resulting in the creation of a new legal entity: SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations LLC (SMGO).
This strategic reorganization separates gas-related activities from SMO, enabling SMGO to operate independently and take over the technical and commercial management of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) in Azerbaijan and Georgia, as well as representation in in Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and SCP Projects. Additionally, SMGO will operate the Iğdır–Nakhchivan Gas Pipeline and lead the electrification project in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
These changes mark a significant step in SOCAR Midstream’s organizational evolution, aimed at enhancing focus and efficiency across its business lines.
