Elections to the IPLOCA Board of Directors will take place at the 58th Annual Convention in Athens, Greece on 1 October 2026.

The Association invites all Regular and Associate Members to propose representatives for election to fill the 9 seats becoming vacant.

Each elected Board member serves as a representative of the membership at large and as an ambassador for the organisation.

Vacant SeatsĀ 

IPLOCA is looking for candidates to represent Regular and Associate members.

Regular MembersĀ 

7 seats are becoming vacant in September 2026:

  • 2 seats in Middle East & Africa
  • 1 seat in East & Far East
  • 2 seats in Europe Central
  • 2 seats in Europe Northwest

Associate MembersĀ 

  • 2 vacant seats becoming vacant in September 2026.

As per Clause 9.4.1 of the By-laws, the elected Directors shall be approved and confirmed by a simple majority vote of the Regular Members and Associate Members who serve as Officers at the Annual General Meeting on Friday, 2 October.

As per Clause 9.4.4 of the By-laws, elected Board Directors shall serve not more than two consecutive years.

Who can stand for election?

To be eligible for election as a member of the Board, an individual must be an owner or a senior executive of a member company. If you would like to be considered for a vacant seat, please review the Duties and Commitments of Board Members.

How to apply?

Candidates should complete the application form and attach a brief rƩsumƩ and a photograph and send the application by email no later than 15 August 2026 to Georges Hage, IPLOCA Executive Director, georges.hage@iploca.com.

VotingĀ  Ā 

All Regular and Associate Member representatives are invited to attend the Election Meetings held on 1 October 2026.Ā Each member company is entitled to one vote.

Proxy VotingĀ 

As per Clause 9.5.2 of the By-laws, in the event that a Regular or Associate Member’s representative does not attend an Election Meeting such representative may assign his or her voting right to a representative of another member, from their electoral field, by written proxy. To be valid the proxy must be filed with Georges Hage, IPLOCA Executive Director, no later than Wednesday, 23 September 2026.
