Qapqa supports pipeline contractors with automatic welding systems, welding services, auxiliary equipment, on-site technical support and project expertise for pipeline construction in the oil & gas, hydrogen, water, and mining industries.

With more than 30 years of experience in automatic pipeline welding, Qapqa helps clients improve welding consistency, reduce downtime, and support efficient project execution. We operate from the Netherlands, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

All product development, engineering, manufacturing, and support is fully in-house in our factory in Italy, allowing us to control every detail of the technology lifecycle—ensuring consistency, flexibility, and continuous innovation.

Our flagship system, the PWT Auto XCS, is a fully automatic GMAW welding system capable of delivering high-quality welds from root (with or without copper backing) to cap for welding mainline and NDRC’s, including FCAW for crossings and tie-ins.

In addition to our automatic welding solution, we provide experienced welding crews, field service technicians, and project welding support. This includes welding procedure development, WPS documentation preparation, operator training, and support during PQT/WQT and AUT validation phases (including ECA). With this full-scope approach, we help clients reduce downtime, improve welding quality consistency, and increase project efficiency.
