C.A.T. strengthens Gulf Region footprint with new awards and milestones

In Saudi Arabia, C.A.T. received multiple recognitions from Saudi Aramco and regional bodies for safety performance, execution excellence, and workforce development. These included awards for the safe completion of the first 100 gas wells at North Jafurah and achieving 5 million safe man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI).

C.A.T. also commenced two major LSTK EPC contracts with Saudi Aramco, strengthening its footprint in the Kingdom. These include the Safaniyah–Khursaniyah (SK-2) pipeline replacement project, involving 108 km of new 30” pipeline, and the Abqaiq–Qatif-3 and Qatif–Qaisumah-1 (AQ-3 & QQ-1) pipeline replacement projects, covering a combined 128 km of new 30” pipeline. In the UAE, C.A.T. secured two major project awards under the Sunrise Program. One covers the installation, testing, and commissioning of approximately 55 km of 48” gas pipeline between the West and Margham Plants, including six block valve stations and associated E&I&T works.

The second award includes 24.2 km of flowlines and trunklines (10”–24”) under the Sunrise Program and the ESTIDAMA Pipeline. Key milestones on the ESTIDAMA Sales Gas Pipeline Enhancement Project (Package 3) included auto-welding productivity exceeding 1 km/day on a 52” line, completion of 30 km of 56” pipeline in a constrained brownfield environment, and over 1 km of 52” joint coating. In Qatar, C.A.T. completed and commissioned the GTC-899 Water Pump Station for Kahramaa and achieved 4 million safe man-hours without LTI on QatarEnergy pipeline projects
