Tesmec empowers major pipeline project in Argentina
Tesmec is proud to support a major pipeline project in Río Negro, Argentina. Two powerful Tesmec 1675EVO chainsaw trenchers are at work constructing a 437-kilometre, 30-inch pipeline that will boost oil transport within the region.
The 1675EVO trencher, weighing 150 metric tons and driven by a 760 HP engine, is purpose-built for different diameter pipelines in the toughest rock conditions. With three boom configurations, it can achieve trenches up to 732 cm (24’) deep and 183 cm (72”) wide, ideal for the challenging terrain along the route. On this ambitious project, the 1675EVO units are contributing to progress across challenging terrain and within demanding project schedules ensuring precision and reliability. Their performance characteristics are particularly suited to the geological conditions encountered along the route. This deployment highlights Tesmec’s commitment to driving progress in pipeline infrastructure across South America and demonstrates how its trenching solutions deliver performance in all soil conditions around the world.
