Technical University of Leoben supports IPLOCA members through education and research

Following its recent admission as an IPLOCA member, the Technical University of Leoben (TUL) in Austria is strengthening its collaboration with the global pipeline industry through education, applied research, and innovation. To address the growing demand for skilled professionals, TUL is launching a new Pipeline Engineering Programme in March 2026. The programme consists of 12 specialized modules, available as a University Certificate (ULG) or as individual Micro-Credentials, covering topics such as pipeline integrity, safety, sustainability, digitalization, and energy transition.

Developed in close cooperation with industry partners, the programme bridges academic expertise with practical experience. IPLOCA member companies are invited to contribute through curriculum input, guest lectures, case studies, internships, and collaborative research projects. Through these initiatives, the Technical University of Leoben supports IPLOCA members by providing access to expertise, research infrastructure, and tailored training solutions that promote innovation and sustainability within the global pipeline sector.
