The C.A.T. Group Wins Gas Contract & Advances in Renewables Sector

APQ, a joint venture composed of Air Products, a world leader in the development and operation of the world’s largest industrial gas projects, and Qudra Energy, the Saudi renewable energy group, has awarded the C.A.T. Group (C.A.T.) with the pipeline construction for industrial gases in Jubail City.

The contract includes three main pipelines (H2, O2 and N2), a natural gas pipeline and custody metering skid. The Jubail Industrial Gases Hub (IGH) will be owned and operated by APQ. The development of this infrastructure will serve the industrial companies in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. With its strategic involvement in supporting the production and supply of hydrogen, C.A.T. is advancing its sustainability goals and enabling future low-carbon economies.

Furthermore, C.A.T. is actively implementing sustainable energy solutions in its operations and for its clients and aiming to reduce carbon emissions in its operations and the operations of its clients’ oilfields. C.A.T. is proud to have been awarded an EPC contract for a 1.2MW rooftop solar PV plant in Dubai, UAE.
