Vacuworx RC 20 lifter used on pipeline project in Arkansas

The Vacuworx RC 20 lifter, paired with a Komatsu excavator, is being used on a pipeline project in Northwest Arkansas. The job involves installing 54″ diameter steel pipe in lengths ranging from 16 to 50 feet, with terrain made especially difficult by the Ozark Mountains.

The combination of steep grades and tight access has made traditional lifting methods more difficult—but the Vacuworx RC 20 has helped streamline pipe handling across the site. By reducing the need for slings and manual rigging, crews have been able to work more efficiently and maintain safer operating distances. The vacuum lifter’s ability to securely handle each joint has proven essential in keeping up with the demands of the project.
