VEMAK awarded major projects in Croatia, Turkey and Iraq
VEMAK İnşaat Taahhüt Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has been awarded three significant contracts in the gas pipeline and LNG sectors, marking a major step in the company’s international growth and recognition. The first project is the Bosiljevo – Sisak DN800/100 Main Gas Pipeline in Croatia.
Spanning 101 kilometres and 32 inches in diameter, the pipeline will contribute to enhancing the energy security of the region. VEMAK is carrying out this project in partnership with Monter Strojarske Montaže d.d., forming a strong joint venture to deliver this critical project. The second project – depicted in the picture – involves the construction of the Fourth LNG Tank at the Marmaraereğlisi LNG Facility in Turkey.
This includes a 160,000 m³ full containment LNG tank, boil-off gas compressors, reloading pumps, and full integration with existing terminal systems. The project is being implemented jointly with Makimsan A.Ş. The third project is the 36-inch Domestic Gas Pipeline between Khormor and Chemchemal in Iraq, covering a total length of 63 km. The project is being fully executed by VEMAK. These three awards underline VEMAK’s capability to deliver large-scale, complex EPC projects globally and reinforce its position as a reliable and experienced partner in the energy sector.
