De Romein continues to develop Pipeline Division to support the energy transition

ince its founding, De Romein has made significant contributions to the rapidly evolving energy industry through the engineering and construction of energy infrastructure.
De Romein is now actively supporting Pipeline Operators and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in the energy transition to hydrogen.

In 2024, De Romein started expanding its already existing Pipelines Department to operate as an independent pipeline contractor for its customers. Last year, the company constructed a high-pressure 6″ transport pipeline in Belgium, which included a 650-metre HDD. This project was successfully delivered, from design to delivery, to the complete satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with the specified requirements.

De Romein is currently working on various valve schemes in the Netherlands, including prefabricated valve installations, with delivery included as part of the scope. In the coming years, De Romein’s ambition is to be even more actively involved in supporting European countries through the much-needed energy transition. The company supports the increasing demand for renewable energy and embraces continued sustainable growth as an organisation.
