Our 57th Annual Convention will be held at the beautiful Swissôtel Büyük Efes and will follow our established format with three days of cultural exploration followed by two days of focused business meetings. This convention offers valuable opportunities for networking with industry colleagues and reconnecting with friends in a captivating setting.

The programme includes:
Cultural Programme (15-17 September) Immerse yourself in this historic region with visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites: the ancient cities of Ephesus and Pergamon. Explore the serene House of Virgin Mary, the remarkable Library of Celsus, the temple of Trajan, the theatre, and the Sanctuary of Asclepius. Discover the charm of Şirince village, known for its local wines, and in Izmir, explore vibrant museums and historic bazaars.

Golf enthusiasts can participate in the Maats/Liebherr Golf Tournament at Kuşadası Golf Club on 17 September, offering impressive views of the Aegean Sea.

Business Programme (18-19 September) Under the theme ‘Delivering Sustainable Energy Infrastructure’, our comprehensive business programme includes:

  • Open General Meetings featuring industry leaders addressing the challenges and opportunities in our industry, AI transformation, energy transition, carbon capture, hydrogen, etc.
  • Business-to-Business Meetings offering focused networking opportunities with industry leaders
  • Annual General Meeting
  • IPLOCA Awards: HSE, CSR, Quality and New Technologies.

Supporting Future Talent Cultural tour fees will contribute to the IPLOCA Scholarship Fund, supporting children and grandchildren of IPLOCA Regular or Associate Member employees as they develop into tomorrow’s professionals.
