Athens 2026: A Week to Remember. A Milestone for Our Industry

The 58th Annual IPLOCA Convention brought together over 470 attendees from 127 companies and 36 countries at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens. It was a unique chance to meet clients, partners and industry leaders in one place.

Business programme
On the theme “Delivering Sustainable Energy Infrastructure”, experts shared their views on key topics for our industry: the European energy shift, hydrogen networks, CCS pipelines and new demand from AI data centers. Futurist and best-selling author Christian Kromme opened the meetings with a keynote on people and AI. B2B meetings gave attendees focused time with industry leaders, and the IPLOCA Awards celebrated the best projects of the year.

Culture and networking
Three days of cultural discovery, from the Acropolis to the island of Aegina, and evening social events gave attendees many relaxed moments to build new contacts and meet old friends. Many thanks to our sponsors for making these moments possible.
